Rao Family Clinics began in 2014 as a single consulting room in Koregaon Park. Today four doctors across two clinics look after more than 3,200 Pune families — many of them across three generations.

Why we started

After ten years in hospital medicine, Dr. Ananya Rao noticed the same thing again and again: patients saw a different doctor every visit, repeated their history every time, and left with prescriptions nobody followed up on.

She opened Rao Family Clinics to do the opposite — the same doctors, one shared record for the whole family, and a message two days later to check you’re actually better.

How we work

  • Advice follows Indian and international clinical guidelines (ICMR, IAP, FOGSI, WHO).
